Southeast Construction delivered the complete mechanical, piping, structural, and E&I installation scope for the Hydrofloat Thickener Area at our clients site Esterhazy location. Working in an active brownfield environment, our team installed the new Thickener Feed Wells, Thickener Feed Splitter Box, Tailings-to-Final Tails Splitter Box, and the Hydrofloat Brine Supply Pump (ES20481) package.

Our mechanical and structural scope included supplying and installing Thickener Feed Wells and Splitter Boxes, installing large-diameter HDPE pipelines including 20", 18", 14", and 8" lines, and installing all structural pipe supports and hangers tied to Mosaic’s drawings. Pump installation included epoxy-grouted bases, concrete preparation, and mechanical alignments in accordance with CSA A23.1.

Southeast Construction installed all piping listed in the CWP—covering thickener overflow lines, Hydrofloat brine circuits, and feeds into the Hydrofloat column—and completed all required tie-ins during coordinated shutdown windows. Our E&I team installed cable tray systems, routed, bonded, terminated, and labeled all pump and valve cables, and installed the Dart Valve junction box and support stand.

Work was executed under Mosaic’s TRAP, LOTO, and QA/QC Level-3 requirements, including full documentation packages and Stage-2 commissioning support for pre-commissioning and systems testing.

This project reflects South East Construction’s strength in delivering integrated brownfield installations where mechanical, piping, structural, and E&I scopes must align seamlessly under strict safety and operational constraints.
