In 2023, SEC was awarded a brownfield mill upgrade project for our valued client. This project included the installation of structural steel & all supporting floors, one bucket elevator, 2 Screw Conveyors, 3 belt conveyors, & 3 drag conveyors. The contract also included the installation of all associated chutes, ducting, gates, concrete pads, pump bases & various brownfield piping such as brine lines, plant air, instrument air, sump lines, fire water, and natural gas lines all needing tied into the existing plant. The project required extensive planning efforts and coordination with the plants operations team to ensure that the day-to-day operations of the plant were not affected.
