This project involves replacing the existing CX Centrifuge and Drying systems with a new CX Centrifuge and Fluid Bed Dryer system to address current and future process needs and replace aging equipment. As the design was not fully completed and issued for construction (IFC) at the time the contract was awarded, the project required close collaboration with the client and its engineering consultant throughout the design phase to develop the scope to an IFC level. The scope included installation of structural steel and floors, centrifuge and Fluid bed dryer, titanium/stainless steel piping, ventilation, chute work, power, controls, instrumentation, and communication systems. Execution involved pre-works as well as a major shutdown component.
