In 2024, SEC was awarded the contract for concrete foundations and flatwork for a state-of-the-art Pea Protein Plant in Saskatchewan. The scope of work includes detailed excavation and backfilling around both the exterior and interior of the building footprint, as well as all structural concrete components. This encompasses foundations for the main plant, receiving building, bin foundation piling, ring structures, and exterior concrete surfaces.

The project also involved extensive flatwork, including multi-elevation Slab on Deck pours, Suspended Slabs, and Slab on Grade installations. Several strategically planned pours were executed to accommodate complex slab designs, including sloped floor sections.
