SEC was contracted by Core Industrial Services to execute mechanical, piping, and electrical work for the new shaft loading pocket. The scope included the installation of diverter gates and flasks, shaft cross piping with dryer and receiver equipment, washdown water piping, and air pocket piping. Our Electrical & Instrumentation team was responsible for the procurement and installation of all necessary cable trays and cabling to power equipment, as well as the shaft signaling system, hoist remote instrumentation, fibre optics, lighting, receptacles, and all associated grounding and bonding systems.
