In 2023, SEC was tasked with a time sensitive project requiring the installation of a new bridge crane & relocation of all required piping prior to our client’s annual shutdown. The project included excavating & pouring new footings, installation of structural steel columns, crane beams, & an engineered lift for the installation of the bridge crane. Comprehensive planning and attention to detail were required for getting the crane into the building with only inches of clearance available. Also included in the project was the relocation of HDPE & carbon piping which required various shutdown tie ins. The project was executed seamlessly by the team and all parties involved.
